We are currently seeking good looking models for work in the Gay Film Industry. Our associated production company specializes in the filming of Bondage and SM material and operates out of Europe. It has been in operation for over five years and has a wealth of material on the market today.

I've never done anything like this before. Do I need any experience?

Many of our models have never worked in the industry before. Since we only do shoots in which the models have an interest, i.e. BDSM, we find that most are more comfortable in front of the camera than they ever imagined. Of course experience is always helpful, but then again we all have to start somewhere, right?

What if I decide to work for another photographer?

None of our models are exclusive to us. We simply don't have the infrastructure or financial clout to pay for exclusive models. You may work for anyone you wish after working for us. As a matter of fact, several of our models have been approached by other photographers after being discovered in our work. Who knows what may happen after your first appearance?

What if I change my mind during a shoot?

So far, we've never had a model change their mind after deciding to work with us. If this is something you've always wanted to try, then a change of mind is pretty unlikely. But in the event you should decide you'd rather not pose for the camera, then that's ok with us. Remember, we will never require a model to do anything they don't wish to do.

How much do you pay?

Although payment is always a reason for working in this industry, it should never be the only reason. We always recommend to anyone working in the Adult Industry that they do so for the love of the work. If you are doing it for the money, then maybe you should reconsider your decision. Pay cheques can be infrequent, at best, unless you "make it big" in the industry. Never-the-less, we understand that nothing is for free in this world so we agree with each model want part he's to play in the production, and pay as appropriate.

For example:

For a model who has never worked before and just wants a taste of what it's like (maybe just tied up in the background) we pay $25 per hour.

For a model who wants to take part as one of the main characters, but is a first timer so only wants a small part we pay $75 per hour.

For a model who is experienced and wants to do a complete movie (resulting in him being seen in most scenes throughout the movie we pay up to $150 per hour, depending on experience.

Where do you film your productions?

At the moment, it varies dramatically - various places in Europe and various places in the USA. We find that this really isn't satisfactory because it's very hard to work out where we are going to be at any particular time and, therefore, organising with the models where (and when) to expect the shoot is a nightmare. Also, because of the type of work we do, we really need permanent sets (Dungeons if you will) so that we aren't limited in what we can achieve.

As a result, we are in the process of setting up two permanent studios. One in Amsterdam to deal with European models and one in the USA to deal with the Yanks. This is taking a lot of time, effort and money but hopefully both will be in place in a few months. In the meantime, please be patient with us, and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

What sort of models do you need? Am I too old?

This is where we at BDSM Sentinel need to get tough. It's very hard sometimes, when approached by someone who is REALLY enthusiastic, to say "Sorry, you're not for us". But the simple fact is, we only need a very narrow range of body types and image types for our videos. So in an effort to help, I've put together the following Mini Guide as a reference.

We are looking for younger bondage-boiz between the ages of 18 and 27 years old and also hard-bodied, touch guys up to the age of about 35(ish). The criteria for both groups is the same.....

Ethnic background does not concern us, we are happy with all races - Caucasian, Asian, Afro-American, Latino, Eastern European, etc, etc, etc - It's all good! It is best if the model is shorter than 6 foot tall, although this isn't a deal-breaker. Our bondage positions are often very strenuous, so a well defined, strong body is needed. Athletes, swimmers, gym-fit guys, construction workers - you get the idea. Lose the flab - even puppy-fat (one of my personal fetishes) comes across very badly on film. So sorry - get to the gym. If we can see you're ribs, you're too thin. Good, clean shiny teeth are important, as is an attractive face - bright eyes, rosy cheeks, and all that. Your skin needs to be healthy looking - smooth and tight. Body hair is ok, especially if you are happy to get shaved (maybe on film). We look for a very Clean Cut image, so no beards, mustaches, piercings. Although tattoos are fine.

Are there any contracts?

There are no contracts for exclusivity. The only forms you will sign are those required by law to allow us use your images for commercial purposes. These are the industry standard model release forms stating you agree to allow your image to be shown as needed. This, along with a government issued photo ID as proof of age, is all that is required to work for us.
